Positive Discipline For Children Seminar

Do you ever feel like you are the only parent in this world that is having difficulty with disciplining your child? Do you feel like no matter what you do you don’t get the outcomes you desire from your child when they misbehave? You are not alone. All children have times in their life when things feel overwhelming. This is when the behaviors we would rather not see come about. One way in which we can teach children how to react and communicate is through teaching Positive Discipline. What is Positive Discipline? It is a way in which parents and caregivers can let children know what behaviors they expect from them both at home and in society by rewarding good behavior and having meaningful consequences for undesirable behavior. First United Methodist Church will be hosting a Positive Discipline course for any caregiver who would like to learn more about the subject and ways to help children in their care. You can sign up here for our Saturday, February 25th seminar at 10:00 to 11:00am presented by the Director of FUMC Weekday School Erin Holbert. The cost is $20.00 per individual and $30.00 for two people. We look forward to seeing you there.
