Sunday night youth

Sunday Nights 6-8 pm

Our Youth Team strives each Sunday Night, August-May for our Youth to have a safe place.  A place where students can ask hard questions and a place where they may challenge the worldly topics we face everyday.  We hope you can join us in our Youth Ministry on Sunday Nights as we meet for games, dinner, and worship led by the Youth Band.  We then have small group breakouts that are designed to help Youth grow in their faith.  Adult leaders walk with them every step of their journey.  Please scroll down to view our many great opportunities to participate.

Service Projects

Students are the hands and feet of Christ to our Hendersonville community.  We help with yard work, house repair, feeding the hungry, and more. Our students participate in summer mission trips each year.

Registration begins each Fall for the trips.

Outreach Events

We have outreach events such as game nights and more to encourage our students to bring a friend to youth group!

parent connection

As parents, we all know that we can't go on this journey alone. We sometimes just need that extra voice to encourage us and direct us as we step into each day of parenting.

We'd love to connect you to other parents and help you develop relationships along the way as you seek to raise your kids to follow Christ.

Parent Small groups meet on Sunday mornings at 10:10 am and Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:15 pm. Contact Colleen Schnitzer, Director of Family Ministries for more information or to join a parent group.

parent equipping

By downloading the Parent Cue App you’ll receive real time prompts that help every stage of parenting.

We will also send a weekly Parent Cue email with suggestions for daily interactions with your child to connect with their lesson at church.

We’ll be posting good resources on Facebook Group: One YM that we think can really help you as a parent.

Once a year we’ll host a large event where we’ll bring parents together for some great content and table discussions. We’ll have a national speaker and the latest ideas and info on parenting, as well as some time to talk and debrief with other parents.

first families parent/child events

Research has shown that one of the things that helps kids develop a deep, strong faith is intergenerational events at church WITH their parents. Over the course of a year we’ll have events where kids and parents can simply have fun and create a memory together.

This Spring, we will have a Mother/Daughter Tea and will host a Father/Son Camp-Out in the Fall.
