For over 60 years, The Weekday School of First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville has been touching the lives of Henderson County. Our church believes that each child is a child of God and should have every opportunity to develop spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically to the fullest potential. It is our purpose to provide that opportunity for development through safe, nurturing care for the children and families of The Weekday School.
In 2014, we earned a North Carolina license as a religious sponsored childcare provider. This license allows to better serve the families in our care by offering extending hours beyond our morning schedule.
In order to meet the growing needs of our Weekday School families for a flexible and extended schedule, with a five day a week program, our Early Birds program begins each day at 8 a.m. and is especially useful to parents who have early morning commitments. Lunch Bunch (not available at this time) takes place immediately after school each day and ends at 1:30 pm. Children must bring a lunch from home. Please contact the office at 692-6673 about cost information for these two programs.
More information (tuitions, schedules, etc.) about our Weekday School can be found in our 2021-2022 Parent Handbook.
